When and how to check in in September? Make sure you know your check-in date

Accommodation in Palacký University dormitories for the 2026/27 academic year takes place on different dates depending on the specific dermitory. Check-in is only possible on weekdays during the office hours of the relevant accommodation office.

When can I check in?

Check-in is possible on weekdays during the following office hours:

7:00–11:30 and 12:00–14:30

Upon arrival, please go to the office responsible for accommodation at your dormitory. This may not be located directly in the dormitory where you will be staying:

• J. Jařaba Office – dormitories 17. listopadu (17L), J. Jařaba (JRB) and B. Václavka (BV)

• Generála Svobody Office – dormitories J. L. Fischera (JLF), Generála Svobody (GS) and Chválkovice (Chv)

• Neředín Office – dormitories Neředín (N) and E. Rošického (ER)

What should I bring?

Please bring the following documents/items for check-in:

• ID card or passport

• ISIC card (for students in higher years)

What is the earliest possible check-in date?

The earliest possible check-in date varies depending on the hall:

Would you like to check in earlier or later?

You can check in earlier than the date you entered in ISKAM. In this case, you will also be charged rent for the additional days you stay in the dormitory before your originally scheduled check-in date.

You can also check in later if you do not arrive on the date you originally entered. In this case, rent will continue to be charged from the date stated in your accommodation contract, rather than from the actual date of your arrival.

The latest possible check-in date is 21 September 2026. If you do not check in by this date and do not inform the accommodation officer responsible for your dormitory that you will arrive later, your reservation will be cancelled.

Before travelling to your dormitory, please check the check-in date stated in your accommodation contract and make sure you know which accommodation office you need to go to.
